ARTISTS NOTES

This is a reproduction of Gaugain’s Portrait of M LouLou (1890). It was one of two reproductions I did for a TV commercial for the Art Gallery Of Ontario in 1994. The commercial was advertising their hosting of the “The Barnes Exhibit”. If I recall correctly, my drawings were placed on the ground while people walked over them and “rain” poured down making them fade away. The commercial tagline was sometime like “Come see it before it’s gone”.
