How To Buy An Original Painting

Step 1: Contact the artist

Send Josh a message here to inquire about a painting.

Step 2: Payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payment can be made by PayPal, bank wire, certified cheque or cash (in person).

Step 3: Shipping

Once payment has been received, the painting will be securely packaged then delivered by a reputable shipping company such as Purolator or FedEx. A tracking number will be provided to you. All paintings arrive wired and ready to hang.

About Framing

Paintings on canvas are mounted on high quality 1 or 1.5 inch deep wooden stretchers and are typically left unframed. Framing a painting on canvas is purely a matter of personal preference, however paintings on board require framing for support and for aesthetics. The dimensions, colour and style may differ as determined by the collaboration of the client, artist and frame maker. Framing is an additional cost and depends on the desired frame. Of course, you may choose to purchase a painting without framing and have it done yourself.

Return policy

You may return the painting within 30 days of delivery. You are responsible for the return costs and it must be returned in the same condition it arrived in using the same (or similar) packaging.

Ownership Rights

When you buy an original work you own the physical object, however all copyrights are retained by the artist. You may photograph and display the images for personal use but you may not make reproductions to sell or other commercial use.
